Streaking along the River


Tonight I had the opportunity to run along the Thames. It was a glorious evening and I ran up to the Barrier and back - 8 miles. Not so far but I'm trying to take it easy this month as I'm streaking. No, not the naked sort, the run every day of June sort. So far so good with 18 days and 102 miles complete. Hopefully I can keep it going for another 12 days. But the question then is, then what? Back to zero or do I carry on? Will the relief of not having to run every day outweigh the thought of going back to square one? Actually most days, I don't mind running but my achilles is getting a bit sore hence the gentle running. I need to make sure I take it easy as Saturday I'm planning another Summer Solstice run...
